Spell Books
Book of Spells
Spell books were the secret of the Akychi. Book of spells would not be offered to anyone that is not of their bloodline. It is like an encoded message in their DNA. Spell books are the ownership of these people only. When considering using books of spells, don’t ask one of them. Their powerful spell books won’t be of use to one not bonded to the gift.
Witchcraft, Spells and Akychi
Spell Books
Spell books were originally written in Akychi language. It was a combination of Hieroglyphic writing and emblems that represented their spell books. The books of spells were extremely complex and some spells still remain a mystery on how to spell cast.
The first signs of Akychi writing and passing down their knowledge through generations of spell books was in 4 000 B.C to 3100 B.C. These spell books were of extreme secrecy. Akychi and layers of spells were used to guard the knowledge.
During the reign of Den (2985 B.C), the first earth elements were used to derive white spells and nature spells. Fire spells, water spells, earth spells and sand spells were practiced.
It was clear through art and depictions that protection spells, healing spells and blocking spells played a large role in peace during reuniting of Upper Egypt and Lower Egypt in 3027 B.C.
Around the time when central government collapses and at the end of the Old Kingdom, black magic spells and shadow spell books were most prominently spoken of in record. The need for Akychi was great during this next 165 years during a period of civil disorder.
It wasn’t until later; that the private temples and statues were found that protected the original spell books of Akychi. These were made in approximately 2054 B.C and protected by a dedicated Keeper.
The 14th to 17th Dynasties held the attacks from the Hyksos. It also brewed a war between Akychi and Mastetrauens. They wanted to take advantage of the displayed distractions of the Hyksos war to the North to steal the spell books and gain the knowledge of Akychi.
This was an incredibly stupid strategic move. Even with the knowledge of Akychi, they were not of bonded bloodline to the magic. It would have achieved less than a quarter of the power of an Akychi Spell Master.
Spell books that were known to exist because of this attack are listed below.
