Spell Casting
Spell Casters
Spell casting takes many years to master. Spell casters only become famous after countless trials and errors related to spell casting earth spells, fire spells, moon spells and water spells. Spells will take time to understand and then practice in a spell casting sacred area.
Fire spells and moon spells were the most influential spell casting of the basic spells. These spell casters offered future talent. They understood spell casting from an early age and brought new meaning to spells.
Witchcraft, Spells and Akychi
Earning of Spell Casting Rank
Every Akychi learns the basic knowledge of spell casting in the Moonlit Garden. It is the beginning place to understanding how to use their powers, where they were provided first-hand mentoring from elder Akychi Spell Masters and their fundamental understanding of elements. Fire spells, earth spells and moon spells were just a few standard spells taught by elder spell casters.
There are few details known as to the exact nature of their teaching. Normally, the elder Akychi family member does the passing down of the knowledge in private. In the past, every family member was born of the gift and required to honor their family by achieving high ranks. Their ability to learn and master balance quickly in spell casting is what resulted in higher social status.
In the present, there are only a few families left born with the gift. Few have been willing to speak of the past. It has been explained and documented that there was a great war between the Akychi and the Mastetrauens. The Mastetrauens risked their lives in an attempt to gain the Akychi spell books, knowing that they would only acquire a mere fraction of their spell caster powers because they were not born of the gift.
There was spoken truth of the earning of ranks. Akychi started at a rank of zero and ascend to the rank of five. Judging by archived events, it took anywhere between seven to twelve years to gain the knowledge and ability to go up in rank and status. There is no confirmed knowledge as to the factors involved in ascending rank in spell casting. Spell casters could have forwent individual evaluation.
The 4th and 5th rank is the only Akychi permitted to wear pure white, while the rest wore an off white. The rank of zero was only permitted robes of beige. Beige was a symbol of only having talent in basic spells such as fire spells, moon spells, water spells and earth spells.
The spell caster rank of four and five were studied the most by historians due to the incredible depth of secrets kept by the Akychi. It was clear that these women and men had the strongest bond of magic in their bloodline, plus the knowledge of spell casting power – power that could conquer their choice of lands.
What was their role?
The 4th and 5th rank only dealt with high society, kings, emperors and urgent matters that affected entire kingdoms. There were accounts of 3rd ranks seen assisting common citizens.
It is believed 1st and 2nd rank were not permitted to exercise their spell casting power outside of the Moonlit Garden. There is speculation that they practiced overpowering elder Akychi to gain full comprehension.
The role of Akychi was ominous due to their expectations to not allow one side of any dispute to overpower another. Harmony, balance and restoring what is meant to be in a fair manner are their primary focus.
Spell casting and spell casters brought the life of magic.
